Did you know? Maskam is the name of the northern tip of the Matzikama Mountains in Namaqualand, a semi-desert region 300 km north of Cape Town. The word Maskam means “It Gives Water”—a perfect reflection of what we do.

Based in Vanrhynsdorp, Maskam Water designs and manufactures innovative water-saving solutions to help homes, businesses and communities conserve precious resources and cut costs. In a world where clean water is becoming scarce, our mission is to help you go green without sacrificing comfort.

Our Core Solutions

Greywater Systems – A ready-to-install underground tank with a discreet green lid. Low power use, no odours and only about 60 minutes of maintenance per year. The system can integrate pool backwash and rainwater harvesting with automatic overflow to municipal sewers, while built-in aeration ensures better quality water.
Fusion Wastewater Treatment Plants – Drop-in treatment units (Clarus Environmental Fusion Series) that meet or exceed DWS standards, treating both black and grey water in urban or remote areas. These systems allow communities to use flush toilets without consuming a drop of potable water.
